“Volunteers form the backbone of our organization,” says Major Les Marshall, Territorial Public Relations & Development Secretary.  “Their time and skills are critical to The Salvation Army’s ability to extend its reach far and wide in local communities, helping those who need it most.” The 2015 Volunteer Appreciation Party held on Wednesday, May 20 at 11:30AM gave us an opportunity to celebrate the volunteers who serve selflessly on our front lines.  Thank you for helping The Salvation Army Vancouver Community & Family Services give hope to others!  Also, a SPECIAL thank-you to Val Lynn for preparing such delicious salads!
